Te Pātaka Toi Adam Art Gallery cares for, manages and develops Ngā Puhipuhi o Te Herenga Waka—Victoria University of Wellington Art Collection on behalf of the Victoria University of Wellington Art Collection Trust.
The Art Collection is a nationally significant repository of more than 600 art works by modern and contemporary New Zealand artists. This collection of New Zealand art has been built since 1947 and is displayed throughout the university’s campuses for the benefit of staff, students and the wider public.
